From Boulogne we went across channel to Eastbourne, Brighton and the finally Itchenor in Chichester harbour. We are not going to mention the British ports as we have already covered them in previous post. Except to say that crossing from Boulogne is great because you miss the dreaded Dungeness point which is just horrible because its pretty much always bouncy and rough.
The trip would have been a lot nicer if we hadn’t of had quite strong SW winds all the way causing us to slam our way all along the south coast.
But all in all a great trip and its really nice to finish the trip sitting on a buoy in Itchenor drinking a glass or two of French wine watching the sunset and feeling a little bit sad that our epic adventure to Holland is over for another year but also kind of glad to be back in our home waters catching up with our friends.
