After 3 days on that islands we needed a charge up and some provisions so we headed for Ouddorp a lovely town on the most northernly part of the Grevelingenmeer.
There is a nice marina and clubhouse at W.S.V. Goeree. With very friendly harbour staff and a very safe harbour for bad weather. Which was useful as we had some strong winds and rain coming in.
Inc Elec. we paid €23.50 for a 12.8 metre boat. There is also a washing machine and tumble dryer at a very reasonable €2 euro each. If you don’t want to walk into town the clubhouse serves very reasonable and tasty food.
The town is about a 20-minute walk through fields and then the outskirts of town. There are good shops and restaurants in the town including a big Albert Heijn supermarket.
After 3 days of strong winds and some rain we were getting a bit stir crazy so as the winds abated to a gentle 25 knots we thought we would leave.
