We had originally planned to drift up towards Cowes on the tide and see the Clipper yachts returning from their year long circumnavigation of the globe, led in by Sir Robin Knox-Johnson in his yacht, Suhali, and then float back down to Newtown for a bar-b-que on the beach.
However, the boys wanted to skip straight to the beach / bar-b-que part and it was so gloriously sunny and picturesque that we had a serious case of CBA and decided the boys had a point…
