We had to back track a bit today so basically we did the reverse of our previous post. We were going to go on but it was so stonking hot we wanted to stop somewhere that would have a bit of a breeze (i.e out of a town) and also have electricity so that we could run the air-con in the evening. The pontoon at Oud Beijerland fitted the bill perfectly so that’s where we went, again!
We’d been very good dinner-wise and eaten in a lot, even when we went home to UK for the last 2 nights, so we treated ourselves and splashed out on a Thai takeaway in town called the Mathulada. We can definitely recommend the Thai green chicken curry! Absolutely beautiful with a hint of hotness, first class!
We even managed to get proper prawn crackers for Lucy which was definitely a Brucie bonus!
