Jachthaven Bruinisse to De Mosselbank public mooring 30.07.16

Mosselbank-westWell, today was not a day that we needed seasick tablets as it was a quick 1-mile journey from the marina to one of the public moorings that I mentioned in my previous post.

The public moorings are scattered all around the Grevelingenmeer. They usually have toilet facilities and rubbish bins and pontoons. This one Mosselbank (West) also has a big grassy area for picnic and ball games etc. People are very good and use the toilets, and so it’s ok to swim off the back, which we did.

We stayed here for three days taking a trip over to the marina in the tender zooming along taking off on the waves much to Lucy’s delight. The Marina at Bruinisse has a good chandlery which is good because I needed 7 litres of distilled water.

The cost here virtually nothing we pay €12.50 for 7 nights on any of the public moorings.
