Veere to Idyllic anchorage in the Verse Meer 3.07.13

We left Veere on a rainy damp early afternoon with the promise of better weather in the afternoon. We were heading for a pontoon on one of the islands on the Verse Meer at 50:31.53N 03:43.04E.

I am sitting in the cockpit this morning listening to the birds and nothing else. The sun is shining, its warm, what else could you ask for?

These pretty little islands have portaloos, tables and chairs, rubbish bins even, and are great for a BBQ or picnic. The grass is cut and it is very clean and tidy. This is typical of the Dutch attitude as this is all provided free of charge.
